Located below ground in the building’s basement, the award-winning lap pool and spa have become an iconic feature of Arc by Crown
The pool and spa are fully tiled using Brillante glass mosaic tiles, offset with a dark grey porcelain tile. Full perimeter LED underwater strip-lighting surrounds the internal perimeter of each facility, creating a never before seen dreamy, intimate and cosy experience. The indoor environment allows all year round use without exposure to the wind, rain or sun. The ice-cave themed room is acoustically isolated preventing noise ingress to the adjoining-gymnasium which is kitted out with TVs, stylish bench seating, toilets, showers and lockers. Additional construction on bearings was conducted to reduce vibration.
Scope:
- Construction of Pool, Spa & Water Feature Shells
- Construct Pool filtration
- Preparation of shells for waterproofing membrane.
- Application of Waterproofing membrane to Shells.
- Fully tiled interior to approved tiles.
- Stainless steel ladders and handrail as nominated on drawings.
- Fit-out of pool filtration plant room as per specification including all reticulation.
- Pool Control Board
- Installation of Chemical Dosing & Sanitizing Equipment
- Supply and Installation of Heat Boost Pumps & Gas Heating System to Heat the Pool & Spa
